The Safe Haven Project is a MISSION in & of itself. The founders are working to create it as nonprofit dedicated to connecting victims and survivors of domestic violence — and their children — with vetted, trustworthy resources. We provide rapid-response support, fund proven partner organizations, and create educational tools for prevention and healing.

Absolutely. Survivor voices are critical in shaping Safe Haven’s resources and approach. Survivors can join our advisory circle, share stories (if they feel safe to do so), or help review educational content to ensure it’s sensitive and effective.

Not all resources are safe or effective. Survivors are often directed to places that lack proper training, trauma-informed care, or accountability. We research, verify, and build partnerships only with reputable organizations that meet our strict criteria, so every referral is one you can trust.

Designated gifts: Go directly to our Impact Partner of the Month/Quarter — 100% regranted within 30 days after the cycle ends.

Every donation is tracked and included in our quarterly transparency reports.

Our leadership team, in consultation with our Board and vetted advisors, selects Impact Partners based on mission alignment, proven track record, and transparency. Partners rotate monthly or quarterly to highlight different needs and approaches.

Absolutely! We welcome recommendations from our community. Each suggested organization must complete our vetting process, including verification of nonprofit status, financial transparency, and alignment with our mission.

We only fund registered nonprofits in good standing. We review their public financials, speak with leadership, and require follow-up reports. All grants and designations are documented in our quarterly and annual reports.

Yes. The Safe Haven Project is (or will be, upon final IRS determination) a 501(c)(3) public charity. All gifts are deductible to the fullest extent of the law. We provide official receipts for your records.

Founding Donators are individuals or organizations who give $5,000+ during our first year or before we reach $100,000 raised. They receive permanent recognition, invitations to exclusive events, and the knowledge that they helped lay the foundation for The Safe Haven Project.

Founding Gladiators are launch-phase advocates who commit time, skills, or resources for at least one year. They are part of our inner circle — helping spread awareness, supporting events, and shaping our mission from the ground up.

Yes. You can reach out to us without sharing your name. We will connect you to resources that allow confidential or anonymous assistance, depending on your comfort level and safety needs.

We create and distribute safety-planning guides, self-check tools, and discreet informational materials that help you recognize abuse, understand your rights, and know where to turn for help — including options for those who cannot safely make phone calls or use the internet at home.

Safe Haven Collective produces pamphlets, posters, and literature that can be displayed in public spaces like libraries, community centers, churches, and airports. These materials are designed to be clear, discreet, and actionable — giving victims access to help and educating the community on recognizing signs of abuse.

Yes. Many survivors first seek help from their pastor, priest, or faith community. We provide training and literature for church leaders to help them respond safely, avoid harmful advice (such as urging victims to “just pray and stay”), and connect survivors to proper resources.
